DLE is a transformative method that isolates lithium ions from sources like brine or mine wastewater using techniques such as ion exchange, solvent adsorption, and electrodialysis. It eliminates the need for evaporation ponds, reduces freshwater consumption, and shortens extraction time from months to hours, achieving recovery efficiencies above 98%.
